It started in 2008 as Medical Home Alert, rebranded in 2012 and serves all 50 states. The BBB lists a business start date of March 1, 2009, slightly later than the company’s own timeline.
The BBB rates it A+ and has accredited it since August 2012, with only 2 complaints in the last three years. Its Trustpilot page is small (17 reviews, 4.6 out of 5) and hasn’t collected a review in the past year, so most of its review volume comes from TrustSpot reviews the company gathers itself.
The company says its Monitoring center. The 24/7 call center that answers alerts and dispatches help or contacts family. There is no activation fee, and the annual plan includes one free month and free shipping. Prepaying locks in your rate; otherwise the agreement lets the company raise the fee with notice.

HOME is a speakerphone console about the size of a hardback book with a shower-safe wrist or pendant button. Buttons reach up to 1,000 feet (the AutoFALL pendant up to 600), and you can speak to the operator from 30 to 60 feet away. Backup battery lasts up to 72 hours on the landline unit and up to 24 hours on the cellular unit.
HOME & AWAY FLEX is a 1.55-ounce GPS pendant with two-way voice, up to 5 days of battery and a free caregiver app that shows location and device status.
