There is no free business replacement for Aircall, but several cost less. Nextiva Core and Dialpad Standard start at $15 per user a month on annual billing versus $30 for Aircall Essentials, Dialpad needs only one seat instead of three, and Zoom Phone is $18 month to month if you want to avoid another annual term. Choose by team size, billing terms and whether you need CRM logging, which is Aircall's main strength.
People leave Aircall for a few consistent reasons: the 3-license minimum, annual terms that need 30 days' notice to cancel, no refunds for the committed period, and slow support. We compared six cloud phone services on the facts that address those problems.
For each one we checked the entry price per user on annual and monthly billing, the minimum number of users, contract and renewal terms, and what calling is included, using each company's own pricing pages and terms in October 2026.
Below you will find each pick with its weak spots, a price table, how contracts and refunds compare, and the steps to cancel Aircall and port your numbers without paying for two services longer than you need to.

Why people look for Aircall alternatives
Aircall is a capable phone system for CRM-heavy sales and support teams, but its terms push some buyers away. These are the most common reasons, based on its pricing page, help center and Trustpilot reviews.
- The 3-license minimum. Essentials ($30) and Professional ($50) are priced per license a month on annual billing and need at least 3 licenses, so the smallest annual setup is $1,080 a year. Dialpad Standard needs one seat.
- Contract terms and renewals. Aircall’s help center says accounts on an annual plan or a commitment must give 30 days’ notice before the renewal date, and that it does not give refunds for the committed period. Trustpilot reviewers often report auto-renewals they did not expect.
- Charges after cancelling. Aircall says SMS, overage calls, extra licenses and add-on use before closure can still be billed after you cancel, and reviewers report refused refund requests.
- Support and quality. Reviewers cite slow support, audio problems and mobile app bugs. Aircall scores 3.0 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 1,089 reviews.
- Porting delays while billing continues. Your Aircall account must stay active until a port-out is complete, so slow ports mean paying for both services.
None of the alternatives below removes renewal risk entirely. Zoom and Nextiva also bill on terms that auto-renew, so compare the contract section as closely as the price.

For a 3-person team on annual billing, Aircall Essentials costs $90 a month before taxes. Nextiva Core or Dialpad Standard costs $45, and Zoom Phone $48. net2phone adds about 14% in its own fees, and Dialpad lists set up fees.
Contracts, renewals and refunds compared
- Aircall: 30 days’ notice before renewal on annual plans or commitments; no refunds for the committed period.
- Zoom Phone: payments are non-cancelable for the term and non-refundable unless Zoom agrees or the law requires it. Cancelling takes effect at the next renewal date.
- Nextiva: terms renew for the same length unless you cancel at least 30 days before the end. The 30-day money-back guarantee does not cover minimum commitment contracts.
- net2phone: 30-day money-back window on monthly fees and equipment; after that, cancel in writing to [email protected], with early termination fees possible on a term.
- Dialpad and RingCentral: both sell monthly plans and offer 14-day free trials, so you can test before any annual commitment.
If cancellation trouble is why you are leaving Aircall, start the new service on monthly billing, ask for the renewal date and notice period in writing, and set a reminder 60 days before it.
How to switch from Aircall without paying twice
- Find your renewal date. Only users with Owner permissions can see it in the Aircall Dashboard. On an annual plan or commitment, Aircall needs 30 days’ notice before that date.
- Sign up with the new provider and request the port. Aircall says the new provider handles the port-out, and Aircall does not charge for it. Keep Aircall active until the port finishes.
- Export your data. Request call logs, voicemails and recordings through Aircall’s Help Center before you close the account.
- Delete ported numbers and cancel. Porting out does not cancel your subscription. Remove the ported numbers from the Dashboard to stop billing for them, then cancel.
- Save written confirmation. Keep the cancellation confirmation and check your next invoice for usage charges.
Is there a free Aircall alternative?
Not for a business team. Google Voice Basic is free, but it is an individual plan that needs an existing mobile number, not a shared business phone system. The free ways to test a replacement are trials: Dialpad Connect and RingCentral each offer 14 days, net2phone lists a free trial on UNITE, and Aircall itself offers free access.
The cheapest paid route for a very small team already on Google Workspace is Google Voice Starter at $10 per user a month, for up to 10 users.
How to choose an Aircall alternative
- Count your users. Under 3 users, pick a plan without a seat minimum, such as Dialpad Standard or Google Voice Starter.
- Decide on billing first. If you want to leave freely, compare monthly prices: Zoom Phone is $18, Nextiva Core $23, Dialpad $27 and RingCentral Core $30.
- Check your CRM. Aircall’s strength is CRM logging. Dialpad lists CRM integrations from Pro, Nextiva lists Salesforce and HubSpot as add-ons, and Zoom lists Salesforce and Slack integrations, and RingCentral lists Microsoft Teams options. Confirm yours before you switch.
- Price your texting and international calls. RingCentral Core includes 25 SMS per user a month and Nextiva Core 100. net2phone Professional includes 40+ countries.
- Add the fees. Ask each provider for an all-in monthly total with taxes and regulatory fees.
