TrimRx is a real business. Its privacy policy names Metafit Pharma Solutions, doing business as TrimRx, at 12636 High Bluff Drive in San Diego. TrimRx says it is a technology and administrative platform: independent, affiliated physician groups decide whether to prescribe, and independent state-licensed compounding pharmacies fill the prescriptions. Its site displays a LegitScript seal.
The track record is the problem. The BBB rates TrimRx F, not accredited, with 2,578 complaints in three years for a company it lists as founded in June 2024. In federal court in San Diego, a proposed class action, Laplante v. Metafit Pharma Solutions LLC, was filed April 28, 2026, and the weight loss brand Hume Health filed a trademark case against Metafit on August 13, 2026, in which the court granted a temporary restraining order. We did not review the allegations in detail, and neither case has a final ruling. Trustpilot is more positive at 3.8 out of 5, but TrimRx invites customers to post reviews there.

What compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide mean for you
TrimRx’s own terms say compounded medications are not FDA approved, that FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality, and that they are not generic versions of Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro or Zepbound. Since 2025 FDA has warned telehealth companies not to market compounded GLP-1s as equivalent to approved drugs. We found no FDA warning letter to TrimRx as of October 12, 2026.
GLP-1 drugs can cause nausea, vomiting and more serious side effects, and they are not right for everyone. Talk to your own doctor, especially if you have a history of pancreatitis, gallbladder disease, thyroid cancer or are pregnant.

Recurring themes on the BBB and Trustpilot are customer service that is slow or hard to reach, orders that sat pending for weeks, charges after customers asked to cancel, higher bills after the first month, and refund requests turned down because the prescription had already gone to the pharmacy.
To protect yourself, screenshot the price and renewal terms at checkout, cancel in writing before your next refill is sent to the pharmacy, and dispute any charge you didn’t authorize with your card issuer. You can also complain to the California Attorney General or the FTC.
TrimRx cancellation and refund policy
