What you get in each plan
Antivirus Plus covers malware, ransomware and web threats, and now runs on Windows, macOS, Android and iOS. Total Security covers 5 devices across those systems in one subscription. Both include Bitdefender VPN limited to 200 MB a day per device, enough for occasional public Wi-Fi but not for streaming.
Premium Security adds unlimited VPN traffic, a password manager and Scam Protection Pro, and its family version adds parental controls. Ultimate Security plans add identity protection, and Ultimate Security Plus adds identity theft insurance of up to $1,000,000 or $2,000,000 with 1-bureau or 3-bureau credit monitoring. To avoid a surprise charge, turn off auto-renewal in Bitdefender Central after you buy, or set a reminder a few weeks before your renewal date. If you are charged, ask for a refund within 30 days of the renewal.
Cancelling Bitdefender and getting a refund
