Onboarding with your matchmaker
A 60-minute call covers your values, history and must-haves. The matchmaker then searches its network and recruits outside it.

On Trustpilot it scores 4.6 out of 5 from more than 8,000 reviews; Tawkify invites clients to review, and many reviews rate an individual matchmaker rather than the outcome.
Legit isn’t the same as complaint-free. The BBB shows 113 complaints in the last three years, a large number for a service with a high price per client. Tawkify’s own success figures, such as 80% of clients finding success and 200,000 successful connections, are company claims; its site defines the 80% as couples matched within the first 12 matches.
Tawkify warns about impersonators: it doesn’t use Telegram and never asks for payment by Cash App, Zelle, gift cards or cryptocurrency.

Two things change the value. First, you pay for each date yourself on top of the package. Second, Tawkify distinguishes paying clients from members: members join the pool for little or nothing and may be matched with you, but don’t get a matchmaker. Ask how many matches in your package will be paying clients and how many could be members.

You apply online, talk with a client experience specialist, then do a 60-minute onboarding call with your dedicated matchmaker. The matchmaker searches Tawkify’s network, which it says includes more than 3 million singles, and recruits outside it when needed. Every match is screened by video and a criminal record check.

Tawkify’s FAQ says it only accepts clients it believes it can match, or your money back. Beyond that, read the client agreement before paying. Third-party reviews describe a policy where the first match cycle isn’t refundable once you’re accepted, later unused matches may be partly refunded, and unused matches can be refunded if you enter a relationship.
State law may give you more. California’s Dating Service Contracts law, for example, lets you cancel until midnight of the third business day after you sign, by written notice, with a full refund due within 10 days. Several other states have similar dating service rules. Pay with a credit card so you can dispute charges if a promised refund isn’t paid, and report problems to the BBB or your state attorney general.
Who should look elsewhere
If you haven’t tried relationship-focused apps like Hinge or eharmony for a few months, start there; they cost far less and you control who you meet. If seeing a photo first matters to you, Tawkify’s blind-date format will frustrate you. If your budget is tight or you would need a refund if it doesn’t work, the cost-per-match math is hard to justify. Tawkify makes the most sense for people with little time, a clear idea of what they want, and money set aside for a few months of introductions.
