Charter lists three unlimited plans: Unlimited at $30, Unlimited Plus at $40 and Unlimited Plus Premium at $50 per line a month on multi-line accounts, with Premium at $60 for a single line. On July 22, 2026, Charter launched Unlimited Plus Premium, with 4K video on cellular, 50 GB of hotspot data, free roaming with 20 GB of high-speed data in more than 215 countries, a $10 monthly credit for financed Spectrum phones and an included smartwatch line. The same day, Spectrum Mobile stopped selling By the Gig plans to new customers; existing By the Gig customers can keep them.
Charter also closed its purchase of Cox on August 20, 2026, and former Cox areas now sell Spectrum Mobile in place of Cox Mobile.

Mobile-specific complaints on Trustpilot center on promotions not applied as promised, such as free lines or device buyout credits, charges on lines customers thought were canceled, and long phone holds. Reviewers also praise in-store staff and easy number transfers.
Get the offer terms in writing or saved from your account before you switch, check your first two bills line by line, and keep copies of any trade-in or buyout paperwork. If billing errors are not fixed, you can file a complaint with the FCC.
Canceling Spectrum Mobile
There are no annual contracts, so you can leave at any time. Two things to watch: if you financed a phone through Spectrum, the remaining balance stays due under your device agreement, and canceling Spectrum Internet makes you ineligible for mobile service. Port your number to the new carrier before you close the account so you do not lose it.
Who should skip Spectrum Mobile
Look elsewhere if you do not have Spectrum Internet, plan to move out of Spectrum’s area, or want a phone plan that is not tied to your home internet.
